Have you ever watched Tim Burton’s adaptation of the Corpse Bride?  This fun, quirky, and very Gothic movie tells the story of the unfortunate Emily who was murdered on her wedding day and is left buried in the ground with only her finger left extruding.  Young and timid Victor, who is on his way to his own wedding, very innocently thinks that her finger is a stick and places his bride’s wedding ring on it for a last minute practice session of his wedding vows.  Emily rises from the ground and declares  herself as Victor’s wife.  This fun and Victorian film is the ultimate story of a dead bride brought to life.  Bet she would’ve appreciated some of these great Gothic Bride Costumes!
